Ultimate Staffing is actively seeking a dedicated Staff Accountant to join a client's dynamic team in California. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented individual who enjoys working with numbers and has a passion for financial accuracy. The Staff Accountant will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of the organization by ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and maintaining financial reports, records, and general ledgers.
• Assisting in the preparation and analysis of budgets.
• Performing account reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Assisting with audits and providing necessary documentation.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable standards, rules, regulations, and systems of internal control.
• Providing support to the finance team as needed.
• Communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
